Angela

Angela

Angela is a Gifted Education teacher with a passion for all things spooky and old. In addition to a Master's degree in education, she has studied colonial history at Williamsburg and Jamestown, VA. Locally, she is a member of the Bonaventure Historical Society and has worked with the Massie School to develop a local, hands-on historical collection for children. Angela has been practicing the art of ghost storytelling since her days as a Girl Scout. Thanks to her interest in the macabre, she has an extensive knowledge of death customs, funereal art and supernatural theory.

Christine

Christine

Christine was born in the Northeast, but came south looking for southern charm and found it in Savannah. She holds a master's degree in education and has traveled widely, including living for a short time in both France and Austria. Christine worked as a ghost tour guide for six years before 'retiring' to start a family. Now a mother of two beautiful boys, Christine comes out of retirement on occasion for private groups.

Desiree

Desiree

Desiree is a native of Savannah and grew up in the downtown area. She graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University with a bachelor's degree in history as well as master's in education. She has worked in one of Savannah's first house musems for nearly a decade and enjoys teaching children history by disguising it within ghost stories. Desiree says, "Although I enjoy tours with children, I love sharing the city's haunting beauty with visitors of all ages."

Jan Blackshire

Jan

Affectionately known throughout the Ghost Talk Ghost Walk family as 'Wimpy Jan' because 'weird' things seem to happen on her tours, Jan has been giving ghost tours in Savannah for over 10 years. She is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Kent State University in 1986, then ended up working for the National Park Service as a park ranger, giving programs all over the United States. She migrated to Savannah to attend SCAD, but never thought she'd stay. "Savannah's a beautiful city and when the darkness falls, its rich history and colorful characters come alive. Who could ask for a better job?"

Jan is a published author and children's book illustrator and has a MFA in Illustration from The Savannah College of Art and Design.

Jeffery Hall

Jeffery

Jeffery's background in theatre, film and television combined with his genuine belief of the paranormal realm make him a "natural" at hosting ghost tours for Ghost Talk Ghost Walk. He is often recognized by our guests from his appearances on Food Network, Fox and Friends, The Today Show and other national television shows, as well as some his more recent independent films. Although his busy schedule precludes him from a regular tour schedule with us, he really enjoys popping in for tours and makes a special effort to arrange his schedule to work with private parties and special groups.

Josh

Josh

Josh is a dedicated Ohio Buckeye. He left his avocation as a world champion cross country ice skater and moved to Savannah to teach school in Chatham County. When he isn't walking tours for Ghost Talk Ghost Walk, he can be found running with his 95 pound mixed-breed rescued dog Travis and playing fantasy football. Josh loves to travel and is constantly inspired by the people he meets on his tours to visit the places they call home.

Scottie

Scottie

Scottie is a Savannah native, a University of Georgia Graduate and a dedicated "Georgia DAWG!"

Although he has been a guide for five years, he had his first ghost sighting at age 6, while living in the Historic District. His enthusiasm for Savannah's ghosts continues to this day as he informs and entertains guests from around the world with his own, special style of story-telling.

By day, Scottie deals with other "paranormal" activity as a middle school teacher. He is a member of the Savannah Irish Fenian Society and the St Patrick's Day Parade Committee. He enjoys spending what little free time he has on the water with his wife and son on the family boat.
